I received the maximum requests to do this review, so here it is. When I first saw these acrylic lip glosses by MUA online, I knew I had to have it; please don't ask me why! I also knew I had to have 'Potency' and not any other color. And everything in this vast universe does not need to have a reason anyway, more so when it comes to makeup! This is my first MUA product, by the way!
These high-voltage acrylic lip glosses belong to MUA's Power Pout range which also has the Power Pout Glaze (sheer, low-voltage glosses) and Power Pout Tint & Balm (moisturizing lip tints). Let us now jump to the review of the acrylic lip gloss...

The Power Pout Acrylic lip glosses are available in 6 shades consisting of 2 nudes, 1 red, 2 pinks, and a mauve-ish purple (shade being reviewed in this post). As already mentioned, 'Potency' is a mauve-ish purple with pink undertones that alternates between mauve and purple based on the lighting and your skin tone.

My Experience with the MUA Power Pout Acrylic Lip Gloss
As you can see, the packaging is cute and functional. The shade name is mentioned on a sticker on one side of the tube.
The MUA Power Pout Acrylic Lip Gloss has the most wonderful scent ever. It has this sweet smell of vanilla and warm caramel sauce that is pleasant and delicious but unfortunately goes away soon after application.
The formula is smooth, soft and creamy. Initially, it looks like it has smoothened out your lips; so they look soft and fuller. However later when the creaminess fades, it looks like the product has settled into the lip lines. To cut a long story short, exfoliation cannot be skipped inspite of the initial illusion of soft and smooth lips. You can easily skip a lip balm though as it feels nice, creamy and moist on lips.
You do not need a lip liner as such but it is always good to use one to get a clean, crisp outer line. However, it is not mandatory.

The MUA Power Pout Acrylic Lip Gloss is lightweight, absolutely non-sticky, and ultra-comfortable on lips. The color-payoff is excellent and goes opaque in 1 swipe. It is more like a creamy liquid lipstick with sheen. I would not say they are glossy or shiny, but they do have this classy sheen that makes even a matte-lipstick lover like me to love them.
The shade 'Potency' would look different on different skin tones. I am guessing that on fairer skin tones, it would look more purple. But on dusky skin tones like mine, it looks more mauve, very soft and wearable.
P.S. - It does look more purple in the hand-swatch and in all the pictures; but it looks like a nice and pretty mauve with pink and slight purple undertones in person.
Staying power is pretty decent, though not great. It stays for 3-4 hours without food or drinks. Starts to fade after drinking and eating. It also tends to transfer. When it starts to fade or transfer, the creaminess also reduces; but then it becomes and stays as an even stain for quite some time after that. I love how it fades evenly without making my lips look unsightly or patchy.

- Wonderful, creamy formula and smooth finish

- 'Potency' is a gorgeous shade

Overall Impression of MUA Power Pout Acrylic Lip Gloss
The MUA Power Pout Acrylic Lip Gloss is not your usual lip gloss. It is more like a creamy liquid lipstick with sheen. You will enjoy using it even if you are normally a matte-lip lover otherwise. The shade 'Potency' in particular is a gorgeous mauve-ish purple with pink undertones that would look fabulous on all skin tones, especially on all the dusky girls out there. The price is not nice for the staying power but if you can get it on discount, definitely do give it a try. The formula and finish is surely a delight, and you are going to love it!
