I sometimes feel that the beauty gods and goddesses are conspiring against me. And that the more I say I do not care about how a product looks, the more they send pretty and cute-looking products along my way. And this is sort of how I picked up the Just Herbs Silksplash Rehydrant Face Wash! That said, I will not allow its looks to influence my views on it. Let us now see how it actually fared...

Product Description of Just Herbs Silksplash Rehydrant Face Wash

An Ayurvedic face wash with the natural goodness of neem, Chandan (sandal wood) and honey. It gently removes the last traces of dust, grime and make-up residue, yet retaining the inherent moisture of the skin. Ayurveda states that Sandal Wood is moisturising and anti-inflammatory, Calendula acts as natural antiseptic and antibacterial agent with sun radiation protective properties. Ayurvedic ingredients such as Aloe Vera, Honey and Orange peel deeply moisturize leaving the skin with an amazing sense of freshness and a velvety sheen all day long. Suits all skin types. Contains certified organic Neem and Aloe Vera.

I am not sure if this face wash is 100% natural (especially the ingredients without an asterisk, in the list). Since I haven't done an in-depth analysis to confirm the same, I will leave it to you to research further and let me know too.

My Experience with Just Herbs Silksplash Rehydrant Face Wash

The Just Herbs Silksplash Rehydrant Face Wash is a golden-yellow colored face wash and has a slightly-runny gel consistency. It smells great and natural. This is the kind of smell you want to wake up to. I can smell the sweetness of honey and the bitterness of neem and orange peel. I use it on Junior too and even he likes the fragrance!

Plus, the packaging is so practical and easy-to-use that even Junior can take it out mess-free. And of course, me too!

I use 1-2 pumps based on need. One pump dispenses very little product and while it still cleans well, I like to go for 2 pumps at times for a bit more lather to satisfy my senses.

I have dry skin and inspite of using it during the Bangalore winter, I faced no issue of further dryness. While it is not moisturizing on dry skin but it does not strip your skin of moisture at the same time. Dry skin anyway needs to be moisturized irrespective of which face wash you use; so that is completely okay.

Below is a swatch of the face wash. You can see that due to its slightly-runny consistency, it has spread around my finger by the time I could click. In the palm while using, however, it is just fine.

Overall Impression

A classy-looking and great-smelling face wash that cleans well, suits all skin types and comes in a pretty and functional packaging. There is really nothing to dislike. If Just Herbs can confirm its all-natural claims, this is going straight to my favourites' list. I still like it and on the alternative assumption that it has less chemicals, I would still repurchase in the future.
