Product Description
If you've been crushing over classic matte lips - the hottest lip trend on the runway - you'll totally adore SUGAR It's A-Pout Time! Vivid Lipstick. Creamy and moisturising, this lipstick combines the look of a classic matte lip with the benefit of incredible comfort. Enriched with micronized pigments and silica micro-beads, this matte lipstick glides on easily and settles to a gorgeous matte finish.
Packaging
The lipstick comprises of an outer mosaic-print paper carton with all the product details. The actual lipstick comes in a rectangular, black plastic case with the name of the brand and shade printed on it. There is no color coding on the case; so you will have to check the case for the shade if you own more than one.
Other than that, the packaging is very travel friendly; the cap sits tight due to the inbuilt groove. There is a click when you begin to rotate the actual lipstick bullet and also when you have rotated it till the end.

'The Big Bang Berry' is a beautiful wine/deep berry shade that will suit anyone and everyone.

My Experience
As already mentioned, the packaging is secure and nice. I do wish it was color-coded atleast in the form of a color-sticker at the bottom. It has a mild scent which is not bothersome to me.
Sugar It's A Pout Time Vivid Lipstick has a true matte formula without any shimmer. It feels like a gel lipstick, glides smoothly on moisturized lips, and is comfortable to wear. As always, exfoliating and using a good lip balm is recommended for matte lip colors.
It does not bleed and you could skip using a lip-liner; however I still use one, out of habit.

The lipstick provides opaque pigmentation in the first swipe itself. The formula is also build-able (as you can see in the hand-swatch picture below); so you can add more coats to intensify the color if you wish.
'The Big Bang Berry' is a pretty deep berry color that would flatter a range of skin-tones. You could wear it light or intense depending upon your need. It stays for a good 4-5 hours (depending on what you eat/drink) and then fades gradually but evenly, which is impressive. It does leave a pretty stain which I personally like.

There is mild transfer but nothing worrying. Also being a matte formula, after a while, it does feel a little drying on lips and may accentuate lip-lines. I like to dab a bit of lip-balm at this point. But I still find it better than many other matte lipsticks in the market, and quite a comfortable-wear matte.

Overall Impression
These are fantastic lipsticks for the price you pay! The formula, the finish and the color are all worth it. I always wish for new shades when I really like a range. So also here I am hoping that Sugar comes out with new and exciting colors soon! Highly recommended!
